This blog was created to give CES students information about the YWP prompts. Students from CES may submit their writing here to get feedback from their peers and when they are ready, may turn it over for submission to the YWP site.
The YWP web site, www.youngwritersproject.org, where registered students post writing, respond to prompts, receive and give respectful feedback, read tips on writing, post audio stories, engage in online workshops and discuss books, news and life.
I've never seen such a brilliant shade of green.
ReplyDeleteI like neon green the best. What I like about neon green is that I think it is one of the brightest colors I have seen.

ReplyDeleteI've never seen such a brillant shade of green than the color of the grass just after it rains. The color looks so refreshed and clean. The color is inviting with the little water droplets clinging on for dear life. It smells good and fresh, it's almost like the grass, the color, is what's making the smell. The color makes me happy and cheerful. It is calling me to sit down and get stains on my cloths to match the grass. The color is deep and rich but also light and delicate.
One day in late summer I was taking a nice long walk in the park when I came upon a shiny and bright four leaf clover. It was so beautiful that I said to myself, "I've never seen such a beautiful shade of green." The green wasn't too dark or too light. When I took a second look at that shiny, bright four leaf clover it reminded me of St. Patrick's Day with all the green decorations hanging up and especially all the smiles lighting up the rooms. It made me so happy that it built a huge smile on my face. That brilliant shade of green made my day and maybe even other people's.
ReplyDeleteOne day when I was in summer camp we went to a pool. When it was time to leave, I looked down and there it was. A four leaf clover! I never thought I would find one and I did! The strange part was that later that day I got $20.00. I guess there is such thing as good luck.
ReplyDeleteGreen as Vermont, green as the fields. There are just so many brilliant shades of green. Green can be what it wants to be. A clover? A tree? Or just the big green fields? Green can be what it wants to be. Green is a brilliant color.
