This blog was created to give CES students information about the YWP prompts. Students from CES may submit their writing here to get feedback from their peers and when they are ready, may turn it over for submission to the YWP site.
The YWP web site, www.youngwritersproject.org, where registered students post writing, respond to prompts, receive and give respectful feedback, read tips on writing, post audio stories, engage in online workshops and discuss books, news and life.
What the "Deadline" means
Because submissions are due to be posted at youngwritersproject.org by Friday at 3pm:
-Handwritten submissions due to Ms. Sexton or Mrs. Dinnan by Thursday at 3pm.
-Blogged submissions posted to site by Friday at 2:30pm.

I can’t live with out this!

There’s an object that I can’t live with out. I’m aloud to use it when I’m not grounded, but sometimes I can sneak a peak. Even know I can’t bring it places I can go home and have it entertain me. Everything that you could imagine all swooshed together in a square shaped box and all you have to do is turn it on but when mom and dad walk quickly turn it off.

ReplyDeleteI have an object that that is very important to me. It is very comfortable to be with an enjoyable to look at. I look at them every night before I jump in bed. I got them when I was a baby, a holiday, a birthday, friend, or just out shopping with my mom. Sometimes I bring the to my friends house. Also I bring them to camp with me to remind me of my family or friends. Also, I used to play with them when I was little. My friends see them on my bed when they come over to my house. Some of them are furry and others are rough. My mom lets me have hers around Valentines Day. They came in all different colors and sizes. You can buy them at bunch of places and around the world. What is it?

This object keeps me hydrated.
I bring it when I run.
It was made in Switzerland.
I got it for my birthday.
Mine is colorful.
I started a “trend” with it.
Some people would call it a tool.
I call it a house hold need.
My dad has one also.
I gave my old one to my mom.

I have an object that I just wouldn’t be able to live without. It comes in many shapes, sizes, and types. My object sometimes has internet and sometimes it doesn’t. Some kids’ parents won’t let them get one until they’re older and more responsible, but I got mine when I turned 11. There are sections in my object that allow you to do many things like take pictures and use a calculator. If I ever get lost with my object, this device will allow me to get help. There are many reasons that this object is special to me. Here are some of the many reasons: my dad paid a lot of money to buy it for me, it allows me to do many things that I enjoy, and I’m able to talk to my friends and family. Can you guess what my object is?

There is an object that is very important to me and I use it mostly everyday. I use it to tell people stuff, you can take pictures with it. That is not all it can do you can play games on some of them and some of them you can go on the internet with and some you can’t. Also some people can write to other people about stuff.

I wear sometimes but enjoy looking at it for comfort. My best friend has something like it.
You can buy them at a lot of place.
Mine is like a cupcake and sparkly. You wear it on your body.
They come in lots of different designs and colors.
They are a perfect gift for a girl. It hangs next to my bed on my bed stand.

My object might be a little big but, I use it all of the time. It has four wheels and it sits low to the ground. It has to have a motor to make it move or go. If you want to you can make it really clean or you could also polish it. I use this to have fun and I never get board. You can race these around the world. Last but not least anyone can use it. I wear a helmet and other padding so I don’t get hurt.

ReplyDeleteThis object is very important to me and my family. We hang this on my Christmas tree every single year. It’s very tragic when one brakes because someone sheds a tear. When we hear the sound it makes it brings us love and joy. They where given to my mother when my grandmother past away. I never got to meet her so this object is very fragile. This object can not be replaced.
